Motul RBF 700 Factory Line is a 100% synthetic DOT 4 racing brake fluid developed for highly consistent, maximum braking at the extreme temperatures generated by carbon and ceramic racing brake systems. With a very high dry boiling point of 336°C and wet boiling point of 205°C, it resists vapour lock and spongy braking far better than conventional DOT 4 and DOT 5.1 fluids.
Suitable for hydraulic brake and clutch systems, and for everyday road use in high-performance vehicles.

Product Description
Motul RBF 700 Factory Line is a 100% synthetic racing brake fluid meeting the DOT 4 standard, developed to deliver highly consistent and maximum braking power at the extreme temperatures generated by carbon and ceramic racing brake disc systems. It can also be used with conventional steel discs and in hydraulically actuated clutch systems, and because it meets DOT 4 it is suitable for high-performance vehicles in everyday road use. Supplied here in a 500ml can.
Extreme thermal resistance and stability
Motul RBF 700 Factory Line has a very high dry boiling point of 336°C (637°F) — well above the minimums for conventional DOT 5.1 (260°C) and DOT 4 (230°C) fluids — enabling effective braking in the most extreme conditions. By allowing brake air vents to be minimised, it can also help reduce aerodynamic drag.
Reliable braking in the wet
Brake fluids naturally absorb moisture from the air over time, which lowers the boiling point and increases the risk of vapour lock and a spongy brake feel. With a very high wet boiling point of 205°C (401°F) — above conventional non-silicone DOT 5.1 (180°C) and DOT 4 (155°C) fluids — Motul RBF 700 Factory Line maintains efficient braking even in damp conditions.

Standard: FMVSS 116 DOT 4. Colour: amber. Dry boiling point: 336°C / 637°F. Wet boiling point: 205°C / 401°F. Viscosity at 100°C: 2.1 mm²/s. Viscosity at -40°C: 1,580 mm²/s.
Important handling
Avoid mixing with polyglycol-based brake fluids, and do not mix with silicone (DOT 5 silicone base) or mineral (LHM) fluids. Store in the original container, tightly closed, to prevent moisture absorption. This is an aggressive chemical product — avoid contact with hands, paint or varnish, and rinse thoroughly with water if it contacts skin. Always refer to the owner manual or handbook of the vehicle.
