Motul NGEN 7 10W-50 4T is a next-generation four-stroke motorcycle engine lubricant built on a combination of finest virgin base oils and additives blended with synthetic esters and high-quality regenerated base oils. Designed for severe conditions in sport and adventure riding, it is suitable for any type of high-performance street or off-road motorcycle with a four-stroke engine, with or without an integrated gearbox, and with a wet or dry clutch. It is well suited to motorcycles fitted with exhaust after-treatment systems such as catalytic converters or secondary air injection.

Performance and protection

This synthetic-based lubricant is reinforced with an exclusive ester technology that minimises internal engine friction losses and improves overall performance. The synergy of ester with anti-wear additives provides improved shear stability for better gear protection and longer life, while stronger oil film resistance at high temperatures extends engine protection, especially at high engine speeds. Optimised phosphorus and sulfur content supports the best catalyst operating conditions, and the oil maintains its performance throughout the entire oil drain interval.

Motul NGEN 7 10W-50 4T is specially formulated for sharp engine response, increased clutch grip and improved shifting, with high-temperature resistance and protection. The API SP standard brings further benefits including emissions system compatibility, oxidative stability and deposit control for the most severe modern hardware. The JASO MA2 specification provides the most efficient friction values to ensure the best clutch friction engagement across all riding modes. Other applications include ATVs, UTVs, SxS, personal watercraft and snowmobiles, depending on the manufacturer’s viscosity recommendation.

Standards: API SP, JASO MA2 (2023) No. M033MOT223. Viscosity grade SAE 10W-50. Drain interval up to 16,000 km depending on manufacturer recommendations or individual use. Can be mixed with synthetic or mineral lubricants.
