Motul 8100 X-clean gen2 5W-40 is a high-performance 100% synthetic gasoline and diesel engine oil, approved by many car manufacturers. It is specially designed for last-generation cars — naturally aspirated or turbocharged, indirect or direct injection — compliant with Euro 4, 5 or 6 emission regulations and requiring an ACEA C3 “Mid SAPS” engine oil. It is compatible with catalytic converters and Diesel Particulate Filters (DPF).
What is it suitable for?
Formulated for modern gasoline and diesel car engines that require a low-emission, ACEA C3 Mid SAPS oil with reduced sulfated ash, phosphorus and sulfur content to protect after-treatment systems. Its dedicated SAPS levels provide outstanding oil-film resistance, reduce friction and support extended drain intervals managed by the vehicle’s on-board computer.
