Product Description
Motul 8100 X-Cess 5W-30 is a high-performance 100% Synthetic engine oil designed for powerful, recent petrol and diesel cars fitted with large displacement engines — turbocharged or naturally aspirated, indirect or direct injection. A multipurpose oil carrying a wide range of car maker approvals, it is especially recommended for vehicles still under warranty and is suitable for all fuel types, including leaded and unleaded petrol, Ethanol, LPG, Diesel and biofuels. It is also compatible with catalytic converters.
Performance and Engine Protection
The ACEA A3/B4 performance level requires outstanding detergent and dispersant power along with strong resistance to viscosity increase caused by soot from direct injection diesel engines. This oil delivers high oil film resistance, thermal stability and wear protection under demanding conditions, while remaining compatible with the extended drain intervals managed by the vehicle’s on-board computer. It can be mixed with synthetic or mineral oils, although best performance is achieved when used on its own.
Approvals and Standards for Motul 8100 X-Cess 5W-30
This oil meets ACEA A3/B4 and API SL performance levels and carries an extensive list of manufacturer approvals: BMW LL-01, Mercedes-Benz MB-Approval 229.5 and 226.5, Renault RN0710 and RN0700, and VW 502 00 / 505 00. It fully satisfies BMW Long Life-01 for BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce models both before and after 2019. Always confirm the correct specification for your vehicle before use.
Recommendations
