Motul 8100 ECO-CLEAN 0W-20 is a high-performance 100% Synthetic Fuel Economy lubricant specially formulated for the latest generation of petrol and diesel engines that require a very low HTHS (High Temperature High Shear) viscosity and a Mid SAPS formulation with reduced Sulfated Ash, Phosphorus and Sulfur content. It is designed for engines meeting Euro 4, 5 and 6 emission standards where a viscosity grade 20 Fuel Economy oil is specified, and is compatible with Catalytic Converters, Gasoline Particulate Filters (GPF) and Diesel Particulate Filters (DPF).

Fuel Economy and Engine Protection

Thanks to its 100% Synthetic base and reduced SAPS levels, this oil produces a very resistant oil film, reduces friction within the engine and remains compatible with modern after-treatment systems. The ACEA C5 and C6 standards demand significant oil film resistance, LSPI (Low Speed Pre-Ignition) protection and friction reduction to deliver meaningful energy savings, and therefore fuel economy benefits. The viscosity grade 0W-20 reduces hydrodynamic friction, providing fuel savings especially when the oil is cold, while ensuring excellent oil circulation, instant oil pressure, faster engine revs-up and faster engine warm-up.

Approvals and Standards for Motul 8100 ECO-CLEAN 0W-20

This oil meets ACEA C5 and C6, API SQ and ILSAC GF-7A performance levels. It carries BMW LL-17 FE+ (backward compatible with BMW LL-14 FE+), Jaguar Land Rover STJLR.03.5006, Mercedes-Benz MB-Approval 229.71 and 229.72, and Opel/Vauxhall OV 040 1547 – A20. It also meets the OEM performance requirements of Chrysler MS 12145, Fiat 9.55535-DSX and 9.55535-GSX, and Ford WSS-M2C947-B1, WSS-M2C954-A1 and WSS-M2C962-A1. Always confirm the correct specification for your vehicle before use.

Recommendations
